Frequently asked questions

How do I upload a pitch deck?

Once you're signed in, go to Upload deck (or /upload). Drag and drop your deck onto the upload area, or click Browse files to pick it from your device. You can upload your main deck as a PDF and add up to five supporting files in total — for example a financial model, appendix, or supporting email.

Supported formats: PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), Excel (.xls/.xlsx), and email (.eml/.msg). Each file can be up to 100 MB. You can also add optional context in the Subject matter box — anything the deck doesn't say out loud that helps calibrate stage, sector, and what an investor will weigh.

What happens after I upload?

IQ Pitch securely stores your deck in encrypted storage and starts the analysis. You're taken to a live report page that updates as the analysis runs. A free summary is included with every deck; you can unlock deeper tiers (Detailed or Full) from the report page once the analysis completes.

What report tiers are available?

• Free Summary ($0) — included with every deck: company snapshot, overall score, investor verdict, and the top red flags.
• Detailed Report ($8) — adds eight-dimension scoring, full red flags, missing slides, VC questions, a path-to-10/10 roadmap, and an evidence basis.
• Full Report ($12) — everything in Detailed, plus valuation and competitor analysis. If you already bought a Detailed report, you can upgrade to Full for just $4 (the difference).
• Investor Due Diligence ($49) — an investor-side deep dive with evidence-backed external research for one opportunity.

What's included in the memberships?

• Detailed Membership ($20/month) — 5 Detailed Reports each month, with extra Detailed reports at $4.
• Full Membership ($30/month) — 5 Full Reports each month, with extra Full reports at $6.

Included reports reset monthly and unused reports don't roll over. Single-report credits you purchase separately never expire.

Do I get a free report when I sign up?

Each new account receives one introductory Full Report entitlement, so you can try the full analysis — including valuation and competitor analysis — on your first deck at no cost.

What happens if I run out of credits?

When you try to run an analysis with no remaining credits, IQ Pitch shows you a prompt to either join a membership or top up with single-report credits. You can also purchase credit packs at any time from the upload or report pages.

Are my decks private and secure?

Yes. Decks are stored in a private, non-public storage bucket, encrypted at rest, and accessed only via short-lived signed URLs. We do not train AI models on your decks. Only you can read your own decks and reports. Full details are on our Trust & Security page.

Why did my deck fail to process?

The most common cause is a PDF protected by DRM or third-party encryption (for example FileOpen), which our extractor can't read. Re-save the deck as an unrestricted PDF and upload it again. Very large or image-only decks can also time out — try splitting or exporting the deck with selectable text. If a deck still fails, email us at admin@iqpitch.com with the deck name and we'll help.

Can I share a report?

Yes. From any report page you can generate a secure share link or email the report. Share links are scoped to that specific report and can be revoked at any time.

How do I get a refund or cancel a membership?

You can cancel a membership at any time from your dashboard; it stays active until the end of the current billing period. For refund requests on one-time reports or credit packs, email admin@iqpitch.com with the deck name and we'll review it promptly.

I'm an investor or fund manager — can I get bulk access?

Yes. The Investor Diligence Desk ($199/month) includes 5 deep dives per month, and Fund Manager Intelligence ($799/month) includes 25 IC-ready deep dives per month with sales-assisted onboarding. Email us to get started or to discuss an annual arrangement.
