This Privacy Policy explains how HELPMARKET IP PTY LTD (ABN 64 630 510 959) ("HelpMarket", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the IQ Pitch platform at iqpitch.com ("Service"). We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to deliver and improve the Service:

Account information — your email address, display name, and (optionally) avatar provided via email signup or Google sign-in.
Pitch deck content — PDF files you upload, and the extracted text, slide structure, and analysis results derived from them.
Billing information — subscription status, plan, and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and never touch our servers.
Usage data — request logs, error traces, credit usage counters, and basic device metadata necessary to operate, secure, and debug the Service.

2. How we use your information

To provide deck analysis, scoring, and reporting features you request.
To authenticate you and protect your account.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To send transactional email (receipts, password resets, analysis completion).
To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
To comply with our legal obligations.

3. AI processing and your decks

Decks you upload are processed by third-party large language model providers strictly to generate your analysis result. We do not use your decks to train AI models, and we contract with providers that do not train on customer content submitted via API. Your decks are not shared with other customers and are not made public unless you explicitly choose to share a report link.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We share information only with service providers required to operate the Service, under confidentiality and security obligations:

Hosting & database — managed cloud hosting and Postgres infrastructure.
AI providers — OpenAI and other LLM providers, for the sole purpose of generating your analysis.
Payments — Stripe Payments, for subscription billing.
Email delivery — transactional email provider for receipts and notifications.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by Australian law or a valid legal process.

5. Data location and transfers

Your data may be processed and stored outside Australia by the providers above. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs.

6. Retention

We retain account and deck data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your decks and analyses within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for billing records).

7. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest for stored files, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected users and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

8. Your rights

You may request to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
Delete your account and associated decks.
Export your decks and analyses.
Lodge a complaint about how we handle your information.

Email admin@iqpitch.com to make a request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.

9. Cookies

We use first-party cookies and similar storage strictly to keep you signed in and remember UI preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
